hey ur obviously a venturi student like myself. who was your teacher? i was in a few years back and had to do the same pic.. here is my version: [link]
do you still keep it up. i've just gone back again since doing the sinatra. this time I'm keen to keep at it tho.
How are you doing? I am the same it was a good 6 years ago before it was nationally accredited, my teacher was "Tony Vowles" the guy who started the company, they used to run classes at Box Hill High School during the school holidays, and that's where I learnt. Unfortunately I haven't done any in a while, I will have to get back to it..
i too started in the days before anything was accredited.
i began in 1999 and 2000. went to box hill with both Tony and Laurent. i have always found laurent to be the better teacher despite Tony perfecting the techniques.
i did the same as u, went back for a few classes, did the sinatra and then had no time after that. well Ive just signed up for more classes with laurent as i want to keep it going. just had a weekend in Melton with him and on my page there is a Airbrush Nude that he had me do. came up ok, looks good but as u would know there are always a lot or errors to improve on.
I did the terminator, the colour mixing for that was a nightmare, and but Tony pushed me along being the perfectionist that he is, and it came out great.. that nude looks good.. Ill get back into it too one of these days, when my boys get a bit older and i have a little more spare time, that's one of the reasons i got into photography, it doesn't take so long, or take up so much room .. but i am really missing it, still have all the gear, ill get back to it
