how did you change the colour of the smoke and it looks like silk?

The color changing was done in photoshop, I tried experimenting with coloured lights but it just wasn't working.. So I kind of cheated

A black bg, and have the flash to the side of the incense and a lamp at the opposite side, shot at about f6.5
